Customized TSSA Industrial Training and Certification for Your Business
Industrial Maintenance Technician (IMT) Training and Certification is a company specific certification. It allows a worker to legally work on fuel-fired equipment (like gas or oil burners) at their own workplace only. It is a site specific, task specific and equipment specific training and certification program.
Employers must identify who will receive the training (usually skilled trades and engineering), what equipment they want those workers to be able to work on, and which tasks they would like them to be able to legally perform (The scope of work allowed by the IMT Certificate).
Hi Mark Industrial Inc., in conjunction with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) will create a fully customized training plan that captures essential TSSA curriculum items to form the course. The training will be conducted at the site of the employer on the site’s equipment.
When that equipment isn’t available Hi Mark will use their many training simulators. These simulators enable our instructors to provide real world hands-on training on live firing burners without interrupting your production.

Upon successful completion of the training, each participant will receive IMT certification issued by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). This certification can be equal to a Gas Technician 1 certification on your site.
